Explain Film production

The origin of the name "film" comes from the fact that photographic film (also called film stock) has historically been the primary medium for recording and displaying motion pictures. We called in different other term as picture, flick, or most commonly movie. Recent addition of terms are the big screen, the silver screen, the cinema and the movies.

Film production is the process of making a film, from an initial story idea or commission through script writing, shooting, editing and finally distribution to an audience.Nature of film determines the size and type of crew required during film making. We can make a low budget or  independent film which may be produced  with little team and low investment. There are also open source or collab feature which may be made through open, collaborative processes. Films are made in Hollywood using visual effects, animators and computed generated imagery.
